    Dan's pick of the week:

    The Wrong Guy

It's a screwball comedy version of The Fugitve. Dave Foley (News Radio, Kids in the Hall) plays an idiot who finds his boss murdered, and manages to cover himself in blood and then walk through the office carrying the murder weapon. He assumes he will be accused and spends the whole movie on the run from the cops. They however have watched the security tapes and pay him no attention while chasing the real killer. Things get really weird from there, and eventually Jennifer Tilly shows up.

Watched Road to Perdition last night... and although it should probably go into the comicbook movie thread, I've never read the comic, so I can't comment on how well they stuck to the original.

HOWEVER... this is a damn fine movie... maybe a little too hopped up on suspense, but still well done, visually appealing, well acted, and completely involving. A good job was done of not making Tom Hanks and Paul Newman recognisable as themselves... you were watching the characters, not the actors. And the story was well scripted, and evolved naturally to its inevitable end. Damn fine work. Now, why couldn't they have made X-Men this good?

Eris, if you can find it, watch the original German version of JAcob the Liar. it is very good. I still haven't seen the Robin Williams version though I am planning to, I heard it was good.

    Any one else seen Windtalkers?
